How to set your username and password on your watch with Garmin Express?
  • Connect your watch to your computer and start Garmin Express
  • Push theManage Appsbutton

  • Push Save button to save the changes to your device

To check whether the account has been properly saved to your watch open again the settings window. When you do, it will always load the values from your watch

  • Open the menu and select Garmin Devices
  • From the list, select your watch
  • Push the Connect IQ Apps

Why did the scanning of my card not work at the check-out? Some stores still use outdated scanning technologies, such as laser or flatbed scanners, instead of the more modern image scanners. Errors can also occur due to inserting a wrong payload card. To be sure just scan your watch with your smartphone and see if it is read correctly.
I get an "IQ!" icon, what can I do? Please upgrade your Garmin watch firmware to the latest available. Garmin Express is the software that helps you manage your Garmin devices.

Which is the difference between Starbucks and Starbucks Linear Code? If you would like to add your Starbucks card you can choose the shape of your barcode. The standard Starbucks barcode is a 2D but old scanners could prefer a 1D Linear Code (Thanks to Rico Chen for the hint!).
Which is the right Card Payload for Tim Horton's Restaurants? For Tim Horton's Card you have to scan the barcode on your mobile app with a scanner and insert what you read from the scanner (like we do with Flight Boarding Passes). The number you can read under the card barcode in not the right one.
What is a Card Payload anyway?Card Payload is the information encoded in a barcode. It could be a number or a flight detail for instance. Usually it can be found under the barcode but if you are not sure just scan the barcode with your smartphone and you will get the right Card Payload.
